Project overview: Huff Bagelry is a high-impact retail bakery located in South Melbourne. Designed by Hot Black, the space challenges the typical café format with a confident material palette, curved forms and a theatrical service counter.
Design intent: The interior centres around a monolithic counter form, acting as both stage and service hub. Soft curves, saturated tones and tactile finishes create a distinct identity within a compact footprint. The layout directs customers from entry to display to pick-up with clear visual hierarchy.
