Shute Harbour | Marine Terminal Furniture & Public Space Fit-out
Project overview: The Shute Harbour Marine Terminal is a major public infrastructure upgrade for the Whitsunday region, supporting tourism, transport and day-to-day passenger movements. Hospitality Furniture Concepts supplied specification-ready furniture and public space solutions suited to coastal conditions and high-traffic use.
This $63.5 million restoration followed extensive damage from Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie (March 2017) and included a rebuilt seawall, terminal, carpark and pontoons. The completed facility supports ticketing and baggage areas, retail and food outlets, passenger waiting zones and outdoor public areas.
