Project overview: Jayda is a late-night cocktail bar in Fitzroy, Melbourne. The venue draws on Japanese design references, refined materiality and a restrained palette to create a moody, immersive interior.
Design intent: Studio Y approached the project with a focus on tactility and atmosphere. Dark timbers, stone elements and detailed joinery anchor the space. Low lighting and defined seating zones create intimacy while maintaining clear circulation through the bar.
