Piazza 2

The PIAZZA 2 chair – part of the collection designed by Jun Yasumoto for Colos – is one of the three versions the collection comes in. Unlike Piazza 1, the standard version, it has the added feature of two deliberately understated arms, which serve to further underline the design’s delicate look.

They are sized to ensure the appendage is entirely functional while bowing to the canons of classic design, resulting in seating that both looks and feels comfortable.

It lends itself to a host of diverse possible applications: as a dining chair in a restaurant or as seating around a vintage-look meeting room; as an armchair in the bedroom or as waiting room seating.

While perfectly at home in modern interiors, Piazza 2 also sits easily in more traditional surroundings, even complex settings, and this is another plus making this seating collection so flexible.

The structure has been designed for stacking: this means it can be neatly and compactly stacked away when not in use. An excellent solution for premises that require flexibility, adding and removing chairs to meet changing needs.

Available in seven colour options, Piazza seating also comes in an armless version (Piazza 1) and a tall bar stool size (Piazza 3).

All projects by Colos emerge from the opportunity given to young designers from various nations to encounter the world of Italian industry. This encounter between the designers’ esthetic and functional research and the company’s great industrial experience leads to solid and elegant products which are developed within an optimized production process.
The manufacturing is exclusively carried out in the company factories in Loria, Italy. In doing so, Colos can ensure the quality of its products and of the working conditions of its personnel. Ethical, durable and affordable: this is what a Colos product is to us.
